Privacy

We collect as little as possible. Most of what the site remembers stays in your own browser.

Stored only on your device

Your theme, reading settings, saved readings, Quran bookmarks, last reading place, tasbih count, prayer-time location and calendar adjustment are kept in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to us. You can remove them at any time in Settings → “Clear my data”.

Your location

Your location is used only if you press “Use my location” on the prayer times page. It is used in your browser to calculate prayer times and is not sent to our server. You can choose a city or enter coordinates instead.

Cookies

• lang: remembers your language.
• vid: a random number used to count visitors. We do not store your IP address or anything that identifies you with it.
• A session cookie when you use the contact form, to protect the form from misuse.

Contact form

If you send us a message, we store your message and any name or email address you give, so that we can read it and reply. Ask us through the contact form if you would like your message deleted.

Other services

• Google Fonts: the typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address when they send the fonts.
• YouTube: the Videos page shows YouTube videos using youtube-nocookie.com and preview images from i.ytimg.com.

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
