Rasaai
Yeh safha abhi aap ki zubaan mein dastyab nahi, is liye English mein dikhaya ja raha hai.
We want everyone to be able to use Noor Al-Qalb, whatever their device, eyesight or way of browsing. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Every page works with a keyboard, has a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Pages use proper headings and landmarks, and buttons and icons have names for screen readers.
- Text colours meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio in both the light and the dark theme.
- You can enlarge the Arabic text and the translation separately, show or hide translations and transliteration, and choose a sepia reading background.
- Urdu and Arabic pages are laid out right to left, and each text is marked with its language so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 × 44 pixels on touch screens.
- Animations are reduced if your device asks for reduced motion, and audio never plays by itself.
Known limitations
- Some pages, such as this one, are only available in English so far.
- The site has not yet been tested with every screen reader and browser combination.
